Last trip to Leeds

Tomorrow I will be heading north to Leeds to stay with my brother this weekend. It is unlikely to have the same level of excitement as my last trip 6 weeks ago, which saw me visiting the King Power Leicester City ground on the way up and then to Leeds United’s Elland Road Stadium with the Bowelbabe teddy bear. Totally unforgettable, and when it comes to raising awareness if you don’t ask you don’t get x

The Bowelbabe teddies have raised around £1250 for The Bowelbabe Fund thanks to the amazing support. Sales have tailed off now, but there are still plenty of bears available if you want to get in on the act. For those of you who already have the bears please keep sending me your photos with the bears on their adventures. Much love as always to Dame Debs and her family. What she has achieved both in terms of the millions raised and the bowel cancer awareness is quite amazing x

I think I am finally happy with the volume levels on the 11 tracks for the Fields of Dawn album. I could probably keep tinkering with it for months! I will give it one final listen on the drive to Leeds tomorrow, and providing I am still happy with everything, I will be able to place the order for the vinyls next week. The pre-sales have already raised around £150 so far, which will be shared between Bowel Cancer UK, Love Hope Strength and The Bowel Movement. Finally please keep this amazing lady in your thoughts. Laura Hopkinson, living with stage 4 bowel cancer, had been enjoying a period of no evidence of disease until a couple of weeks ago, when without warning she had a seizure and 9 lesions were discovered on her brain. Today she began a course of brain radiotherapy to blitz the f%$kers! Laura, @livinglife_withlaura on Instagram, has been incredibly kind and supportive to so many people in the cancer community, and I, like so many others, have everything crossed for her and successful treatment xxx
