More wonderful Bowelbabe Teddy photos arrived today, and it’s no coincidence that when people post and send me their photos, it can lead to more charity sales coming in. So please keep sending me the photos as you just never know if posting your photo will lead to a new sale and increase the fundraising total. I believe that at certain times other people sharing my posts or doing their own with linking the bears in actually has a greater impact than my own posts. Some of the kind comments on the posts have made me feel very humble. I am not someone who craves the limelight, but such words of kindness coming my way mean a great deal and certainly play a part in why I continue to do all this almost 10 years after starting in 2012.

More good news as the vinyl pre-sales for my debut Fields of Dawn album called A New Dawn have hit double figures. I need to order 50 and I would really love to sell the lot which would mean a significant amount raised for Bowel Cancer UK, Love Hope Strength and The Bowel Movement. I am working on the final track and once that is completed along with the album artwork I will place the vinyl order. Who knows I might even need to get more than 50! The CD and Download pre-sales will follow later in the year. Thanks for all the support so far and if you enjoy vinyl please support this record if you can x

My brand new tea strainer for infusing loose tea arrived today, which allowed me to try out my Tummy Tea which I got last month from Elysian Botanicals as part of their Strength Mini Retreat which was raising funds for Bowel Cancer UK during April’s bowel cancer awareness month. They are still available so grab one while you can. I love my breakfast tea, so this was a little step into the unknown for me. A tea without milk! Well I can happily report that it’s very tasty and I will be having a regular night-time cuppa.

I almost forgot. I was contacted by the BBC today on Twitter. I immediately wondered what they might want with a minnow like me, and the thought of being interviewed scares the living s@%t out of me! As it turned out they were trying to find out if I knew anyone who has sought a cancer diagnosis after seeing anything by Deborah James over the last few years. It was nice to be asked, although I wasn’t able to give them much help.

Until tomorrow x
