One of my favourite local landmarks is the Cobstone Windmill, famously known for being the windmill in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I drive past it most weeks as I cut through the back lanes to Junction 5 of the M40. It seemed like a perfect opportunity to get a couple of photos with the Life 0f Mique and Kindness Vs Cancer teddy bears, which have raised a combined total of £2000 between them so far in such a short space of time. Quite incredible support for Monique Buckingham and the recently deceased Laura Kenrick.

You can order both teddies from this page. I have found these two ventures have really helped to reconnect me with the fundraising. Seeing folks pull together and the sense of community even in the most difficult of times restores your faith in people x

So nice to have the lighter evenings especially after work. Walking the dogs tonight in the daylight and not have to stumble around picking up doggie doo dah wearing a head torch is so much more pleasant. I suspect that this week will be pretty quiet at work with it being the end of the month, although I do have a lorry load of bubble wrap arriving tomorrow. Next month the fun and games begin with the plastic tax on virgin materials coming in and also no doubt more price rises generally… Until tomorrow x
