Bowel Cancer UK
End Capacity Crisis

There are only a few days left to sign the Bowel Cancer UK capacity crisis letter. The capacity crisis is the biggest barrier to improving survival rates for bowel cancer. It must be a Government priority today, not tomorrow, and you can add your signature at https://bowelcanceruk.e-activist.com/page/28960/petition/1?ea.tracking.id=TW

Demand for tests that can diagnose bowel cancer is going through the roof. Our NHS hospitals are struggling to cope because they don’t have enough staff to carry out vital tests. Thousands of patients are kept waiting too long for tests that can diagnose bowel cancer early when it is treatable and even curable.

Now is a critical time to tackle these NHS staff shortages. This November the new NHS 10 Year Plan will be published and the Chancellor will be setting out what the Government will be spending in the Autumn Budget.

That’s why Bowel Cancer UK is writing to both the Chancellor and Health Secretary calling on them to fully fund an action plan to tackle the growing capacity crisis.

Please add your name to their open letter today. https://bowelcanceruk.e-activist.com/page/28960/petition/1?ea.tracking.id=TW
