The first day of release saw Destination Unknown and Fields of Dawn set a record that can never be surpassed! No matter what the future holds or how Fields of Dawn are remembered nothing can take this record away… Total sales on the first day of release were zero! 🤣 Certainly no sales on rivers2cross or Bandcamp and I would doubt any sales on digital media platforms, so all those rock superstars will never be able to beat that!
I say this very much tongue in cheek, as pre-sales of the album passed £500 which is wonderful and will be divided between The Bowel Movement, Bowel Cancer UK and Love Hope Strength. It was always going to be a massive ask to match the success of A New Dawn which raised £1300, but it’s an album I will always be incredibly proud of and feel that it is a big step up too.
