I’ve received a lovely letter from Susan George for inclusion in the new book. My connection with her goes back to Mum’s illness when Susan very kindly invited her down to see her Arabian horses in Exmoor. Unfortunately Mum, with a life-long passion for horses, never got to make the trip as her health declined.

I have a couple of options. I could write a chapter for the book, but I am more likely going to place the letter after the book foreword. I will have a little think about this before deciding.

Susan’s husband Simon MacCorkindale died of bowel cancer in 2010, and Susan is now a patron of Lasting Life the Simon MacCorkindale Legacy
