I’ve spent the last 10 days waiting for the first physical copies of The Record to arrive from the printers. The digital proof looked fine, but I needed to see the book in its real-life format before placing a bulk order. Finally the postman delivered one copy of the paperback and one of the hardback today.
To say I am happy with them is an understatement – they look gorgeous! It’s taken me over two and a half years to get to this point, and it has definitely been worth all the hard work. The paperback is bigger than your average paperback coming in and 175 x 250mm, and the hardback measures 216 x 280mm.
For all those people who have already pre-ordered the book thank you so much, and I think you will be pretty pleased with the finished product. I’ve placed an order for books tonight which has cost me a small fortune, so for anyone out there thinking about ordering, you would be doing me a great favour by pre-ordering. All pre-orders will be sent out well in advance of the June 21st publication date.
All proceeds raised from sales of The Record will be donated to Bowel Cancer UK in memory of my mum who died from this awful disease in 2016.
