Here is a screenshot from my computer. Today, more than two and a half years since I started writing The Record, I can announce that I have finished. It has been proof read, and I owe a massive debt of gratitude to my lovely friend Joanna for not just doing that, but editing the book too. Her attention to detail has made it into something so much better than I could have managed on my own.
I have been working very hard towards launching the book during bowel cancer awareness month, which we are currently in, and I might just about do it if there are no last-minute hitches with formatting.
Next up is formatting the document into the right sizes for both paperback and hardback printing, and completing the book cover design. Once the book is uploaded I will get a couple of proof copies just to make sure it’s ok before going live. The plan is to publish at the end of May or early June. Hopefully I will very soon be able to give details of how to buy the book, and launch pre-sales.
All funds raised from sales of the book will be donated to Bowel Cancer UK in memory of my mum, who died from this awful illness in 2016.
