Monique Buckingham

The news of the death of Monique Buckingham, known to so many of us as @thelifeofmique, is beyond devastating. This beautiful young person had her whole life in front of her, and my thoughts at this very sad time are with her parents, Paul and Anne, and all her family and friends. What Monique went through, most of us will never be able to fully comprehend, and yet throughout she remained the most lovely, inspirational, warm and kind person you could ever wish to meet and become friends with. Bowel cancer is the most cruel and awful disease. Monique did everything she could to not just stay alive, but also to raise awareness so that others might not have to go through what she did.

Sertraline Update

A little over a year ago I sought help for depression and anxiety. Hard to sum my issues up in a few words, but I was unhappy, lonely, anxious, plagued by guilt and self doubts and living under a very dark cloud. Taking that first step of acknowledging I’d been living with these problems for so many years was a big step. I just thought it was a my “normal” and had just accepted it all as a part of life.

The Reflections EP from Fields of Dawn is released on November 18th. As well as being a digital download, it is also available on 10″ Vinyl for a very short time. Remixing No Man’s Land

For Christmas this year I shall be releasing No Man’s Land from the Fields of Dawn album, A New Dawn, as part of a special 3-track EP. As with the album all profits will be donated to Bowel Cancer UK, Love Hope Strength and The Bowel Movement.
