I have produced a photo collage comprising of some of the wonderful photos that I have received over the last few years from people who have so generously bought books, t-shirts, bears and other bits and pieces from me to help raise funds. The collage consists of bowel cancer patients, relations of cancer patients, my oldest friends, my new friends, and people who have come across my work and made contact with me.
I was fortunate to get a couple of opportunities to photograph Frank Turner for The Record, my new bowel cancer fundraising book. I photographed him from the photo pit at the Southampton Guildhall in May 2018, and before that I got to meet and chat with at the Reading Hexagon in November 2016
Another person was lost far too young to bowel cancer yesterday. Lisa Well was a young mother and leaves behind a husband and two young children.
The role that reviews play in getting The Record out to a wider audience is an important part of taking the book forward.
Today Kelly found out that she has been accepted onto a trial, which if successful could give her the best outcome of the treatment paths available to her at the moment.
