My Rebellious Hope t-shirt arrived today, and it’s amazing. A wonderful way to raise funds for the Bowelbabe Fund and support Dame Deborah James, who has done so so much for others. These t-shirts have now raised £500,000!! An amazing feat and another testament to the affection that Debs is held in by so many.

This photo of me and Mum was taken on May 27th, 2016 in the beautiful setting of St Anthony A La Menge in Cornwall. It is my favourite ever photo of us together and not because of its significance in terms of her cancer, but just because we simply look happy! And just look at

I am going through a period of change, especially when it comes to one friendship, which sadly seems to be slipping away, and for which I do take complete responsibility for. I

After days of rain and humid weather the garden has gone a little crazy, and none more so than the roses which are looking spectacular. I have at least five rose plants, but this gorgeous red one is my favourite. Because I leave early for work and get home late in the week, I don’t

If yesterday was a time for taking a breath, today I’m right back on it with the launch of the pre-sale for the vinyl edition of my Fields Of Dawn cancer fundraising album, A New Dawn. You may think it strange that I seemed to have done an about turn since yesterday, and to some

And breathe… I took this slightly wonky panoramic photo at work at lunchtime as I was giving Prince his pit stop. I was struck by just how busy and full on life has been recently. The fundraising has been brilliantly supported, making the effort totally worthwhile, but it has rather consumed my every waking hour,
