The brand new video for Sunrise by my new musical project Fields of Dawn is now live on YouTube. With three weeks to go until the digital download single is released it’s time to begin ramping up the promotion. The track will be available from all online digital download stores including iTunes, Amazon, Google Music, Apple, Spotify and Napster.
Last December I travelled to Brighton to meet Steve Norman and Sabrina Winter for the The Record, my recently published book that I have written in memory of my mum who died of bowel cancer in 2016.
December 2018 saw me meet Skinny Lister before their sold out gig at The Garage in Highbury for my new bowel cancer charity book, The Record, which is out now.
The chapter in The Record on Jeremy Cunningham and The Levellers was done in two parts.
I was fortunate to get a couple of opportunities to photograph Frank Turner for The Record, my new bowel cancer fundraising book. I photographed him from the photo pit at the Southampton Guildhall in May 2018, and before that I got to meet and chat with at the Reading Hexagon in November 2016
I was delighted when Justin Sullivan and New Model Army agreed to be in my new bowel cancer charity book, The Record.
Having followed The Alarm for over 35 years I set my sights to trying to get Smiley, Jules and James from the band to be in The Record. It took me about two years for it to happen, but I managed to get them for the new bowel cancer charity book, which is out now dedicated to the memory of my mum who died of this awful disease in 2016.
It’s bowel cancer awareness month, and I have been very fortunate to have spent the last few days in New York watching my favourite band The Alarm, and soaking up what this amazing city has to offer. The bowel bears were there in force, so there are going to be lots and lots of posts.
I would like to give a massive thanks to The Slow Readers Club for doing a photo with my stop bowel cancer bear after their gig at SUB 89 in Reading last night. The band were signing merchandise and I grabbed the opportunity, and I was very grateful,for their support. My mum died in August
