Television presenter Gregg Wallace features in The Record, my new charity book that is raising funds for Bowel Cancer UK. I met the host of MasterChef before his one man show at the Norden Farm Arts Centre in Maidenhead, which is the road where my mum and dad lived all their married lives, and where I grew up.
My new bowel cancer book, The Record, and includes my meetings with a couple of comedians, one of whom was Lucy Porter, who I met shortly before her gig at Norden Farm in Maidenhead.
Towards the end of last year I had a video chat with Nicole Cooper for The Record.
I met television presenter Siân Lloyd for The Record, my fundraising book which is raising funds for Bowel Cancer UK. We met at the stunning Dartmouth House in Mayfair, and chatted for a couple of hours, and without doubt it was one of my favourite experiences and chapters in the book.
Travelling to Glasgow a couple of years ago to meet STV presenter Laura Boyd was the furthest I travelled to meet anyone for The Record.
I have produced a photo collage comprising of some of the wonderful photos that I have received over the last few years from people who have so generously bought books, t-shirts, bears and other bits and pieces from me to help raise funds. The collage consists of bowel cancer patients, relations of cancer patients, my oldest friends, my new friends, and people who have come across my work and made contact with me.
I was fortunate to get a couple of opportunities to photograph Frank Turner for The Record, my new bowel cancer fundraising book. I photographed him from the photo pit at the Southampton Guildhall in May 2018, and before that I got to meet and chat with at the Reading Hexagon in November 2016
The role that reviews play in getting The Record out to a wider audience is an important part of taking the book forward.
